Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 2.1
Checks your System's security settings. Missing updates can be installed through the program.
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... laylang=en
Be sure to get the correct version (scroll down a little to find them):
MBSASetup-x86-EN.msi --> 32-Bit System
MBSASetup-x64-EN.msi --> 64-Bit System

Core Configurator
A simple GUI that helps configure a Core Server.
Keep in mind that any additional software installed on a Core Server will also compromise its security. Also check with your company if they allow such tools to be installed on their servers.

Search for >coreconfigurator.msi download< in google to get a download site. The file should be about 1.4 MB.

Rocket Dock
If you think that the Dock of the Apple OS X is something you want on your Windows PC then this is the tool for you. Unlike the Apple Dock, Rocket Dock can co-exist with the Windows Task Bar on the same screen location.
Note: At the moment Rocket Dock is not compatible with the 64-Bit Editions of Windows.

Total Commander
For all those who miss the Norton Commander.
http://ghisler.com/

To access your Desktop:
Commands --> Open Desktop Folder.

Can be minimized and moved to the system tray as an icon:
Configuration --> Operation --> Move icon to system tray when minimized
This is helpful if you do not have a registered version of the program as it asks you to click on a certain button before start up. The program will not ask for this if recalled from the system tray.

SpeedCommander
Less functions than the Total Commander, but it has an optional Norton Commander look (for nostalgia).

Windows 7 XP Mode
Lets you run programs that only work with Windows XP on Windows 7.
This does not work with the Starter and the Home Edition of Windows 7.
Hardware must support Virtualization.
